87 - The Blood of Jesus Christ

In Luke 18:31–34, Jesus plainly tells His disciples that He is going to Jerusalem where He will be mocked, beaten, and killed—yet will rise again on the third day. Though the prophecy is clear, the disciples cannot grasp its meaning because the true purpose of Christ’s suffering is still hidden from them. The passage reminds us that God’s redemptive plan is often unfolding even when we cannot yet understand it, calling us to trust the Savior who walks willingly toward the cross for our salvation.
