Jesus brings three things into focus for His disciples: the danger of leading others into sin, the importance of forgiving those who truly repent, and the call to serve faithfully without expecting any reward or recognition. These aren’t just abstract lessons—they are real, everyday challenges in community life, where people stumble, hurt one another, and sometimes take advantage of kindness. Even in the middle of messy, chaotic, and sometimes frustrating life, God calls His followers to mindful of temptation and tempting others, to forgive freely, and to serve humbly, doing what is right simply because it honors Him.
