18 - Filled in Christ

To be filled with the Holy Spirit is also to be indwelt and empowered by Him. And when the Holy Spirit fills a person, He will permeate that person similar to how alcohol permeates the bloodstream of a drinker. He alters how a person conduct themselves; how they act, think, and talk are all impacted by the Holy Spirit. He God makes Jesus real to those whom He indwells, more than just a historical figure. He makes God perceptible, mor than just an abstract idea. He makes the Christian life victorious and inviting, more than just religious duty. And He does this specifically by indwelling and empowering His people.
