99 - Sign of the Times (Part 1)

In Luke 21:5–19, Jesus warns His disciples that the impressive temple they admire will one day be destroyed, and He expands the warning to include a future marked by deception, conflict, persecution, and upheaval. Rather than promising ease, He prepares His followers for endurance, urging them not to be frightened when these things occur. In the midst of hardship, Jesus assures them that persecution will become an opportunity for testimony and that He will give them the wisdom and words they need. The passage calls believers to steadfast faith, trusting God’s sovereignty in every trial. Ultimately, Jesus declares that it is by endurance that they will gain their lives.
