83 - The Parable of the Persistent Widow

Feb 1, 2026

Luke 18:1–8 invites us into a story Jesus tells “so that we should always pray and not lose heart.” Through the persistent widow and the unjust judge, Jesus contrasts human indifference with God’s faithful justice, reminding us that perseverance in prayer is not about wearing God down but about anchoring our hope in His character. This passage calls us to keep praying, keep trusting, and keep watching—living with the expectant faith that God will bring justice in His time and asking, with sober honesty, whether the Son of Man will find such faith when He comes.
